Accessibility at USD Impact

USD Impact aims to make its website and learning materials usable by as many people as possible, with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the product target. This statement describes our current approach and known limitations; it is not a claim of legal or complete WCAG conformance.

What we support

• Semantic headings and page landmarks, including a skip link to the main content.
• Keyboard access and visible focus for navigation and core controls.
• Responsive layouts intended to reflow at narrow widths and browser zoom.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images and accessible names for controls.
• Reduced-motion preferences for non-essential animation where applicable.
• Plain-language status and error messages for sign-in, checkout, and account tasks.

Known limitations

• The protected book PDF has not been verified as a tagged PDF or as PDF/UA conforming. If the PDF format creates a barrier, request an accessible alternative from support.
• Caption and transcript coverage for the protected video library is being reconciled against the production media inventory. If captions or a transcript are missing or unusable, report the film title to support.
• Some accessibility checks require manual testing across assistive technologies, browsers, zoom levels, and authenticated learning journeys. Those checks are tracked separately from automated regression tests.

Report a barrier or request an alternative

Email support@usd-impact.com with the page or learning item involved, what you were trying to do, and the barrier you encountered. Include your browser or assistive technology only if you are comfortable doing so. Do not send passwords, passkey details, sign-in codes, or payment-card numbers.
