LNG: Dollar Pricing vs Regional Gas Markets
Dollar pricing is only one layer of LNG; regional benchmarks, access, timing and physical constraints also matter.

A gas-storage level is meaningful only relative to season, capacity, weather, production and the remaining injection or withdrawal period.
Storage balances gas supply and demand across time. Injections and withdrawals reflect the regional balance, but absolute inventory levels are not comparable without seasonal context.
A level that looks high in one month can still be inadequate for a region entering severe winter risk, while one large withdrawal can be only a weather-driven weekly event.
A large winter withdrawal is stronger evidence of tightness when storage is already low relative to seasonal norms and cold forecasts persist.
Reading one storage number without comparing it with the time of year, historical range, capacity and expected weather.
Gas storage is a trajectory and seasonal-position signal, not just an absolute number.
